Im trying to make my qc an all one solution where i have my fx set and i want to have multiple output paths in stereo or mono
Also have an option to disable grid item based on output path
Example:
Output 3/4 will be for cabs on stage
Output 1/2 for FOH
USB Out 5/6 disable cab and record it on DAW so i can re amp using any cab or IR from plugins
currently there is only the standard multi out which includes only the stereo outputs out 1/2, out 3/4, usb 3/4. If you need to manage the stereo/mono outputs differently you have to manually split the signal on the grid. For this reason I made a feature request for a customizable multi out where you can freely combine the mono and stereo outputs as needed
Do you record during gigs or just at home and you want to use the same preset?
If the second is the case you could split the path right before the output and add a cab / IR block to one of the resulting paths assigning it to output 1/2 (XLR to FOH) and leave the second resulting path empty and assigning it to output 3/4 (TS to amp). When you are at home and want to record something you could simply change the output of the path without the cab/IR to USB3/4 since this would require just two ‘clicks’. If you want to record during a show i think you have to open up a third (by sending the former seconds path to lane 3 and split there again assigning the resulting paths to output 3/4 and usb 3/4)
the multi out could’ve worked but the problem is i have my vocal line on MONO OUTPUT 2 but because my guitar has multi out. OUTPUT 2 on the DAW has both the guitar and mic… which sucks…
I hope they have this feature soon, it kills my workflow
