Correct me if I’m wrong, but there is only one way to go Mono Out into a DAW, in my case, Logic. This is via a single USB Output, i.e. USB Output 3. This is fine, however it would be great if we could also go out via Output 3 + USB, as this would allow us to monitor via the Quad Cortex instead of the only option, which is input monitoring within a DAW. The Multi-Out covers this, but it is a Stereo Out and is the only Output on the QC that allows simultaneous monitoring via the QC and recording processed signal into a DAW.
Additionally, it would be fantastic if Mono Outs, L or R, could be Centered somehow while monitoring through QC, instead of only coming through panned Hard L or Hard R.
I haven’t tried it yet but page 85 of the 2.1 manual states you can monitor from the QC and recommends turning off input monitoring in your DAW.
Right, that’s the goal here. Currently (as far as I can tell), the only option for monitoring on QC while simultaneously sending signal to a DAW is via the Multi-Output.
I want to record three guitars at the same time and monitor them independently through an analogue console. I don’t want to use DAW monitoring.
I want:
Guit 1 to go out on output 1 and send to DAW on a single USB channel
Guit 2 to go out on output 2 and send to DAW on a single USB channel
Guit 3 to go out on output 3 and send to DAW on a single USB channel
This is not possible because I cannot assign two outputs to the same instrument.
