Guys I need help with my WAH setting (dunlop dvp5) on QC

Hi guys, is it normal for the WAH to be muted when I heel down the DVP5 pedal? I’ve been trying to find a way to unmute the expression pedal when I heel down but nada so far.

Here is a clip of it: https://youtube.com/shorts/ZU3-gF4Xhdk?feature=share

My understanding with normal wah pedal: it only sweeps and doesnt mute when one is heel down on the pedal. Isnt it supposed to be the same for this pedal?

What I want is for the guitar to continue playing even when I heel down. :sob::sob::sob: Thanks.

Click on the wah → Expression Pedal Settings → Set it to your like (deactivating the Heel-Toe Trigger or expand the threshold)

If you have a Stomp on your expression pedal / wah you could use this as an activation trigger (like a normal crybaby would work)

what is the block before the wah? It’s acting like the XP is also tied to a volume block that is working in parallel to the wah. Is that possible? Could it be assigned any where else?
Have you calibrated the XP pedal in the swipe-down I/O menu?

Issue solved.

My mistake: I connected my guitar > DVP5 > QC (DVP5 output>QC input & DVP5 EXP > QC EXP 1)

Neural just emailed me and suggested

  • guitar > QC and…

  • DVP5 > EXP 1 (separately)

My DVP5 is working properly now. Team Neural is goated. Thanks everyone for the help too. Really appreciate it! LFG!!!
