Gojira & scarlett solo; guitar amp through computer headset. Input lag

Hi,

I have the gojira software and a scarlet solo 1st gen interface. I want to play both the software amp and windows audio through one headset.

I have been playing around with low windows audio (low latency) setting on input, buffer size, etc but still getting a hundred ms of input lag.

I have the scarlett solo drivers too; have played around with settings as well but no luck. Computer is ten yrs old but still sixteen gb ram and i seven CPU.

Is it possible to play the software amp through computer speakers without input lag? otherwise im constantly swapping between amp headphones and computer headset. Thanks

Make sure you are using the ASIO drivers that came with your Scarlett audio interface as the Windows Audio driver will definitely add latency.

yeah the scarlett website took me to the scarlet solo driver page for 1st gen, so im definitely using the right driver…

SORTED! I used the scarlet as input and output under ASIO with wired headphones! noiw i can listen youtube and play same time. ty guys
