I’ve bought recently the Blackstar Live Logic switcher for my QC and it’s perfect for the job.
However, I’ve decided I’m going to need another extra 2 switches to control “preset up” and “down” just cause I don’t wanna use any that are on board of QC. So I bought this momentary switcher and plugged it in through the blackstar exp 1 and 2 outputs, programmed it all in the same way, but it just won’t work. The signal is coming to the Blackstar Switcher, but nothing happens in QC. Same goes for when I connect it directly to QC.
Do you know if that’s even remotely possible?
the Latch Emulation function is in the Bypass settings for XP assignment, so maybe that wouldn’t actually help in this case (I didn’t realize that was the only parameter it can be changed for) since you’re not trying to bypass anything.

How are you assigning the 2 switches when you connect directly to the QC? Thru the Midi via XP settings? What are the commands you are sending to control Preset UP/DOWN? I didn’t think that was something the QC can be configured for easily
Yeah I realised that there is no command for it to be programmed yet. Really hoping that’ll come in the future updates.
I’m connecting this two momentary switch via trs jack y- splitted, that I both tried with direct into the QC and then also into two exp outs on the Blackstar Live Logic.
I guess I just have to figure my way around it u til they’ll update it.
yeah, I’m afraid the momentary switches can only do so much and usually need to be set to latching. Presently it all relies on what midi functions the QC allows and unfortunately the UP/Down isn’t one of them. There’s still a lot of MIDI implementation we’re lacking.
