I also have this issue with a expression pedal and a whammy block with fast moves.
I use the Dunlop DVP5 expression pedal. Tried different settings on the expression pedal, changed TRS cables and recalibrated in the QC.
I just sent a mail to NDSP support with a video of the issue.
Let’s hope they find a solution…
I just tried something without a expression pedal.
Two scenes with different pedal settings on a whammy block.
In some setting combinations there is a lag. So I think it’s not really an expression pedal issue, but an issue of the whammy block.
I also have bad latency in expression pedal. I use Digitech DOD. Has this been fixed for anyone yet?
Make sure you have calibrated your expression pedal and if you still experience issues, please email support@neiraldsp.com and they will get you sorted quickly. For the record, I use a Moog EP-3 and no noticeable latency etc., it came highly recommended and works great.
It is noticeable in slow tempos. I am cime from the Kemper platform and it does not lag at all. With the QC it is an odd type of latency, as it recognizes when you change the expression pedal direction and does not allow the wah to rock all the way up evem though my foot did the full movement. Same thing going down.
Noticed that is not just the wah… ANY parameters assigned to the expression pedal behave the same way. I sometimes assign it to filters and delays and mix faders so its a global issue
Make a video proving it.
I realize this is an old topic, but anyway I just tested my expression pedal (Mission SP1). No latency with wah. Then I tried setting it to adjust amp gain, reverb mix and decay, delay mix, drive and flutter, and modulation drive parameters at the same time. No latency.
