If you are having issues on Windows with your DAW or USB connectivity, you may want to check this: There was an updated USB driver was released in August if you are using Windows. Go to the Downloads link below and click on ‘Windows’ button under the ‘Quad Cortex’ box.
One simple method to check your current version in Windows is to go to ‘Settings’ —> ‘System’ → ‘Sound’ while your QC is on and connected.
Worth mentioning that the language in the driver installation is a little clunky/confusing, nothing functional but the message could be interpreted to mean that the current driver (USB Audio Driver v.5.58.0) is already installed. The dialog box comes up like this, even if you have an older version of the driver installed, as I did. At least for my install. Just go ahead and click “Next”.
I believe a better way to phrase this message would have been something like “You have a previous driver version installed. Would you like to install USB Audio Driver v.5.58.0?..”
