CORTEX CONTROL CONTANTLY DECONNECTS WITH QC WHEN EDITING

Describe your issue:
When editing my presets with Cortex Control 1.2.0 on macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 with any kind of USB Cable (I Checked with many different cables, It constantly and randomly reconnects and reconnects. It is really annoying as it makes the workflow very tiring.

It seems to happen whatever order of connection I use (COCO first, QC first … )

is there anything running in the background that could be interfering intermittently?
Processes, programs, etc?
