Looking forward to it. Currently on tour though, so Iāll be waiting til December to update.
Usual whining about something or other incoming in 3ā¦2ā¦1ā¦
Hot dog! Canāt wait
Import Plugin presets - Woohoo
SLO Plugin compatibility- Woohoo
This may be my favourite update!!!
I would add āmomentary switch functionā as well
Indeed, most exciting update ever for me so far
Finally picked up the quad last month after years of holding out - Favourite plugin has been the SLO100 since that dropped and now itāll be on the Quad - The Digital Stars aligned!!..May have to pick up Nameless aswell nowā¦
Nice, hopefully my QC come back tomorow so iāll can try this update !!
Donāt you think the SLO100 in the quad cortex will be update to match the plugin quality and if you buy a plugin to have something different added to the QC, isnāt it a better choice to go for a Fortin, omega, morgan, tone kingā¦ ? I was wondering.
the plugin is a completely different version of the amp on the QC- one is modern, the other vintage.
Yeah, they sound completely different tbh. The plugin sounds more like a 5150 II to me. I mean that in a really good way. Esp because thereās only models of a 5150 and 5150 III
Looks like some useful-ish updates, and some Iāll never use, but Iām curious about your āwhiningā comment; I mean, I get that some people are never happy, but I also get that some people are always happy, even though there are some basic things on the QC that could do with being fixed but always seem to get overlooked.
What we all need as QC owners is for NDSP to receive objective and constructive feedback, both positive and negative, and if weāre not able to deliver that, and theyāre not open to receive it, then the QC will never reach its full potentialā¦
This I agree with 100%.
However some people on here just constantly whine about the same things, and it has mostly made this forum a pretty toxic place to be.
Whooop!!! Thanksgiving Turkey Update!!!
Is there a separate topic that we can check feedbacks of users that updates their QC? Or shall we keep an eye on this one?
Last time I was thinking to update my QC 1 month later (2 gigs per every week), but couldnāt help myself to update within the next hour once released Thanks God it was flawless, Iām sure this one will be so.
Yes, I guess so. To be fair to some others though, I do understand the general frustration at the pace of updates but moreover the lack of communication at times.
My personal gripes are that in spite of many calls for Neural to address the shortcomings of mode switching on the QC / footswitching in general (the long awaited Hybrid Mode was a real disappointment to many) and the absurd way that the āUndoā feature actually closes the editing window you are using and takes you back to the Grid (please, if anyone can explain why this would be of any use to anyone, I will stop banging on about this - to my mind it is utterly useless!) these two have been completely overlooked in every update so far - and the latter of these two should be a very very easy fix.
