New Quad Cortex Development Update #56

Having the metronome working in tandem with the looper, but not being picked up in the recording is a very useful feature!

And when will there be more modulation effects, reverbs, and delays? This is way overdue.

Probably not for a while because they have a pretty extensive selection of those lol

With CorOS updates, they typically add additional amp and effects blocks without previously notifying everyone. Not trying to stir the pot on this topic, but let’s wait and see.

I hope so. I don’t want it to be just paid Plugins X.

I hope you’re right. There was no new amp in over a year. And no word about Tina since its announcement.

Wasn’t there a post about whats to come in CorOS 3.2 somewhere?
I picked the last CorOS and QC Updates, but can’t find them
But maybe my brain want to tell me, i have to finish work for today

The ESS codec stuff goes a long way to explaining the time since the last update. Testing changes like that be very complex indeed.

The metronome feature is a great addition - I won’t have to manually sync my practice metronome (i.e. “press start at just the right time”) to the QC looper any more!

Honestly, I think that there should be something else for CorOs 3.2 , for non-plugin owners.
My bet is the long awaited Synth Block , some new effects and amps are a must have, too…

If 3.2 is ‘only’ PCOM related , NDSP will have to fight an angry crowd

Alright so…

3.1.0 (November 2024) introduced the Fender Deluxe Reverb '64 (US DLX 64 Vintage block), Boss OC-2, DOD Meatbox, and Crybaby From Hell wah. And the Harmonic Tremolo block, which is totally badass and overlooked.

3.0.0 (July 2024) introduced the Circular Delay, sidechain updates to a bunch of compressor blocks (+ envelope filter and adaptive gate), and a handful of new utility blocks.

I’ll stop there, and this is the last comment I’ll make on this topic. Pleeeeease try not to get hung up on it. They have been adding non-PCOM stuff, and I expect that they will continue to do so.

Ok. But where those fenders not just updated amps and already existing on the qc?

There has never been any QC update consisting of just paid plugins.
