I’ve been successful in adding a momentary aux footswitch to the QC by connecting it to Exp1 and configuring a block to use that “expression pedal” as a momentary switch. This effectively makes the number of live footswitches 9 instead of 8. But, I tend to use GigView, and this additional footswitch is not visible there - only the built in 8 footswitches.
It would be ideal if there was some indicator on the GigView screen to show the status (enabled or disabled) of the block being controlled by that aux footswitch. I guess it is unlikely that it will be displayed as a big square like the built in footswitches. But if it could at least be an icon of some sort along the top, near where the QC displays Preset/Stomp/Hybrid.
Since it should be possible (I didn’t try) to connect two momentary footswitches, one to each exp jack, and configuring them accordingly, ideally, if configured as such, both would be visible along that top row.
