Can I have different routing from the 2 inputs?

Yes. You can have 4 seperate in and out, (2 x XLR/1/4" combo and 2 x 1/4"), with their own amps and effects for each. (Or 4 in and 1 out, or 1 in and 4 out, or any combination inbetween)
