I was thinking about the capture process when it comes to capturing my pedals. At present, there is the option of a speaker block to monitor though, which makes sense when it comes to capturing an amp/amp head. However, when capturing pedals, the current process means having to set the pedal via an fx loop in a preset, then re-patch all cables to capture the setting you’re happy with. I think the whole process would vastly improve if an amp block was available along with the cab block.
My other reason being, a drive pedal through the fx loop doesn’t always sound the same as once the capture is in the preset and thus i find having to re-capture until i’m happy is more time consuming than it would be ifi was able to monitor through an amp as well as cab.
