Windows Error - "Cant load protection component, OS error 0x7e"

Every time i try to open Architype-PLINI it throws my that error in the bottom right of the screen.
I’ve looked on a lot of forums for solutions and haven’t had any luck.

  • Reinstalled both the plugin and the ILOK app (most recent version)
  • Running it as Administrator
  • Turning off firewall/antivirus

Its always worked and I’ve never had this issue.
I hope someone has a solution.

Try reinstalling all the Visual C++ redistributable packages, then restart your system and run the application/plugin as admin. Some sites include them all in one link, like this one: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/
