Why Does Neural DSP Mainly Market to Djent/Prog Players?

Regarding looking for a great Deluxe capture: are you not a fan of the US DLX 65 capture that came out with 3.1?

Well it does not exist in NC. I would love to try it. Along with a plate reverb and tremolo.

Try downloading the “Nano Cortex Crystal Clean” pack from Cortex Cloud. There’s 8 captures and if you like American-style clean, there’s definitely something in there for you that you might love (or even prefer!)

Thanks a lot. It seems that I need to learn a bit more to get the sound I want.
I just do not want to give up practicing time for try outs but this looks like a good option to check out.
Thanks for this. I appreciate that.

Hello. I had the same doubt and asked the support and they said the NC outputs are protected for a sound guy mistake. But they say that it’s not to work with phantom.

About the captures, I use a capture named “dumble jazz” that I like a lot. There are others, like polytones, henriksen bud that works ok for me. You have to try with your guitar and amp, cabs, frfr, FOH, etc.

Yes, it’s a big advantage of NC. But…

I have a main board with beekeeper, paraeq empress, superdelay VM, flint and two notes cab m+. With this pedalboard, I can get very pretty tones. The effects are better than NC, the preamp (beekeeper) works very fine whith real tubes and the OD that I sometimes use in beekeeper is better than I can get in NC (I experimented a lot these months). Flint has great reverbs (including a good spring) and a tremolo. Superdelay has a lot of interesting options with great quality. Comparing sounds, there is no doubt that nano cortex is loosing. Of course for the genres that I play (jazz, bossa, brazilian, latin). With my main board I can yse frfr, foh, they all sound good.

So, if you find something interesting to make jazz with NC, please share with us!

That is great news. Voila! I do not need sound isolator then.
I made these TRS→XLR cables ( short like a patch cable ). I’ll use them then.

I have a flint too
I’m gonna take out Hudson OD and put Nano over there instead.
I’m using it solo now. If I get used to it and find what I’m looking for, I may not even put it on the pedalboard.

It’s a rabbit hole but there are tons of good fender black face and their clones on cortex cloud.

Initially I was a little turned off from the QC only easily able to find distortion sounds but after some auditioning and gain staging I am rather happy.

I’ve lately been using the Morgan captured from user StephMorin

Youd have to use an ir (cab) but I uploaded a bunch of “amp only” 72 deluxe reverb & Princeton (60s) captures in the cortex cloud. (Same username) I like em. But i play bass.
