Where to place Digitech Freqout in signal chain?

I plan to connect Digitech Freqout via one of the FX send/return, but the question is where to put it in the signal chain? Should it be the first block? I already have a wah pedal as the first block now… TIA, if anyone could advice and if possible share an image of your preset with Freqout.

For me it feels best at the front of the signal chain with other pitch effects.
I’m not using an FX loop but have the pedal in front of the QC.
Whammy DT > FreqOut > QC

In the end you have decide for yourself what sounds and feels good.
Just try different positions and settings and see what works.

oh that’s a great option, do you see any guitar signal loss/drop to QC doing this?

Nope, no noticeable signal loss.

I have it on an FX loop first in the chain after a compressor. The compressor allows me to get a bit more sustain from the Freqout before the pretend feedback stops. To get maximum sustain, you don’t want to feed anything to the Freqout that is going to disturb it while its freaking out… like a wah.
