Pedalboard signal chain with the QC

Hello everyone, I am new to QC and I am still trying to figure it all out(it is a lot to get used to). I have a question about signal chain on the pedalboard. I am currently only running the QC, a super symmetry comp, a volume pedal, and a micro synth. So far I have been happy with the sounds I am getting out of the QC, but when I put the micro synth in the chain, I lose a lot of the low end. I am running it on the fix loop as I have heard the micro don’t like anything else in front of it. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I’m am looking for the big and huge “bethel worship” tone. Only used in big moments of the song.
Thank you all in advance!!

Try running your fx loop in parallel. set the split in a/b. Then reconnect downstream.

Bass->comp-> qc —> input1 → amp/cab/block whatever’s-> split a/b → (A) split goes to output 1/2 and (B) split → fx loop → merge to row 1

No low-end loss. However there is risk of phase issues. Thats a different beast.

Thank you, I will try this. Do I have to run the FX loop on the same row or can I use a different row for it?

Not at my qc right now. Hope this sketch helps.

*Going into the wormhole, checkout “kill dry”. Some fx (strymon/eventide) allow for wet signal pass through. Doing this results in < .01% chance of phase issues. On the other hand, there are occasions where bad phasing is desirable. Great time to be a player!!!

Gosh yes, it is a great time to be a player. So much awesome equipment and technology! Love it!
