When switching to a new scene use current scene parameters and only change assigned parameters

Basically make a per preset option for any current scene to act as it’s default (A).

Example:
Currently: B → C = every parameter same as A, except those assigned to C

Latching Scene Parameters: B → C = every parameter same as B except those assigned to C

There are scenarios where that flexibility is useful. I have 3 different patches inside a preset, each with a different amp, optional OD and reverb (edge of breakup/cleanish, chorus clean, dist/lead). Currently using a harmonizer effect with dedicated +3/-3, +4th and Harmonic Minor (a hack I figured out - changing key a M3 up - for getting that 5+M7 etc.) with these 3 patches would require 15 scenes. With Latching Scene Parameters it would be possible with 7.

Edit: Sorry, I got confused with the labels.

I’m confused. What are you referencing by A1, A2, A3, etc.? Scenes inside of a preset are labeled A-D, or E-H; 8 total.

What you could do, is set up Hybrid mode with a mix of Scenes and Stomps. Set up three Scenes with your desired amp, OD, and reverb. Then set up three harmonizer blocks (if CPU allows) in the grid with different settings in each. Assign each one to a different Stomp switch. Now you can freely match a harmony you want with any Scene.

Not an elegant solution–you would need to switch a harmonizer block off before switching to a different one–but it would cut down on the total number of Scenes needed.

I decided to make different presets instead. Same presets but with 3 patches switching places at default scene A. So the harmonizer is dedicated to whichever patch is default.
