I saw a question mark in one of the blocks in the preset. What is it and how can it be solved? Help me figure this out.
purely intuitively, I thought so. I just don’t understand why they post such presets on the Internet that contain unopenable author’s plugins???
Maybe they didn’t know.
I haven’t uploaded a preset with custom IRs, so I don’t know if you get a warning or something.
I can understand why NDSP doesn’t allow 3rd party IRs to be uploaded. But it’s not good for the user experience. Maybe they should have disabled sharing of presets with IR loaders.
Just use your own IR’s, most prefer that anyway as it will sound the best with IR’s you are familiar with.
In some cases, the user describes the preset and tells you what IRs they use, so if you want, you can by them. Sometimes it’s their specific purpose to offer custom IRs that go well with a preset.
Many users, however, are not entirely aware of what they are doing (as suggested) or don’t even remember to have custom IRs in there.
