What kind of pedalboard are you guys using?

Update:

I have added output XLRs for 1&2 (Mains) - with short XLSs @ the QC and Jacks for 3&4 (Headrush monitors);

relocated the Polytune;

replaced the old MIDI cables by Widi short angled ones;

added a « elbow up » USB-B adapter to the QC

I still plan to try the CryBaby wah mod to replace the « Wah » expression pedal. Wah models experience and setup - #8 by ScreamOfAnger

Hate to be that guy but, any chance you will share the STL for that case? I have 3D printers, the G10, QC, etc. just terrible at 3d modeling. Thanks!

Shure… no worries!

Line 6 G10 enclosure 3D files.zip (664.2 KB)

The top is a 3mm thick piece of frost white plexiglass. The bottom of the enclosure has holes for brass inserts M2.5 or M3 so you can use long (30mm I believe) screws to attach the translucent cover. I used these same screws to attach the entire assembly to my pedalboard…

Enjoy!

New to the group! Just got my QC mounted onto my trusty Temple Solo 18 , now just looking forward to a certain plugin … :wink:

Hello cbellanga, hope you’re doing well. I thought your configuration was amazing and I repeated it in my set, I used it as inspiration. Except I’m only using the MIDI Captain, the QC obviously, the expression pedal, and the Shure. When I saw it I thought it was sensational. Could you pass the link to this pedalboard? Thank you very much.:brazil:

Could you pass the link to this case? Thank you very much.

Both those posts say what pedalboard / case is being used. You can just look them up.

Updated Quad Cortex board completed! After waiting months for a Temple Audio SOLO 18 that never arrived, I went with the Warwick RockBoard Tres 3.0. Next I need to sort out the Lehle functionality and I’m all ready for my next gig.

Finally got the mini and built my hybrid board around it. All of this is completely unnecessary but a lot of fun.

WOW What are does blind caps from Planet wave for the TRS and the XLR?

I apologize about the late response. The 1/4" dust plugs are from D’Addario and the XLR ones are from Neutrik. They can both easily be found on Amazon. I’m still on the hunt for good MIDI dust plugs.

I couldn’t find any MIDI dust plugs either. I just cut small squares of gaffer tape to cover up my MIDI ports when not in use.

For those interested, here are some links for various dust covers: 1/4" TRS, USB Type B, Male XLR, Female XLR.

Some of these covers are a bit expensive for what they are. Gaffer tape works just as well in most cases, but maybe not as pretty.

Or you can just find the cheapest or most low profile midi, etc plugs available, and just cut them. Just make sure they fit.
