What kind of pedalboard are you guys using?

Here’s the underside. Temporary solution until I invest in an adult power supply for the QC.

I’m using a Gator Aluminum pedalboard (large) at my Meow Wolf job. It is a tabletop setup.

Nice board, did you do the cut out for the volume knob? I need to get one of those! :metal:t4:

Thank you !

Yeah I’ve done the plexi glass thing myself out of a big sheet, not perfect but does the job :sweat_smile:

Boss BCB-1000

Very lightweight carry-on size pedalboard and case combo and it has a luggage handle and wheels in the lid.

Highly recommended!

Neat! Is the Boss working as a volume pedal or expression? How does it fare compared to Mission?

@DavidRSTV

Nice board! I like how you’re running the transmitter antennas to the patch bays. I’m running a similar setup, but am just running the antennas under the board. Seems to work okay.

Interesting! Do you mind explaining more about the signal path under the pedalboard? How do the antennas tie in, is it to the Line 6 wireless system? How does that work? Where do you buy the antennas? @ZzzenDog please feel free to also contribute and also tell us how you have done it!

What is going on at the top left of the underside of this? Is that white box a PowerCon box? What is the one next to it, is it just a two-way splitter?

Rockboard Quad 4.2 (repurposed from my old pedalboard w/o the QC, which had a lot of pedals…)

I think this photo is somewhere in this thread….

I’ve made some changes since this was was taken, but the G50 receiver hasn’t moved. As you can see, the antenna just lay flat. The board surrounding it doesn’t seem to interfere in live situations.

That said, I’d implement something similar to the external antenna setup if it became an issue.

The signal path is pretty simple: Main Out of the Line6 receiver goes to Input 1 of the QC. Out 1 and Out 3 from the QC each go to the side of the board to the D-style XLR pass-through adapters. One of them is for FOH and one is for the IEM mix, so I can apply the Global EQ to the FOH signal without changing the IEM tone. The antennas are the original Line6 antennas and are only connected to the receiver with D-style BNC feedthrough adapters and short 15cm BNC cables. Just make sure they are 50ohm cables and connectors. The other two remaining cables are coming from the expression pedal and go to the exp inputs of the QC (one for the exp pedal itself and the other one for the toe switch)

Nice! Do I see one half of a case around the board?
