What is possible with current QC MIDI

So what all is possible using the QC MIDI capabilities? I have a 4 button Hotone Ampero controller and about all I can find to do is change scenes, use a tuner, change modes and move to Gig view screen. What has anyone done so far? Is QC going to be addressing the MIDI limitations?

Have you read the user manual? There is a long list of the various midi functions there. While I’m critical about certain things about the QC, such as the UI, some aspects of which I think are poorly thought through, I actually think the MIDI capability is pretty good.

This is useful; - Quad Cortex MIDI PC message calculator - Neural DSP

And as an example of what you can do with MIDI on the QC, I use a WIDI Flex wireless midi dongle plugged in to the QC (the QC can provide power via the MIDI out) and connected via Bluetooth to my iPad running Stage Traxx 3 for backing tracks. Using a set up like this, selecting a backing track in the app will automatically select the correct preset on the QC, change scenes at the right time, open the looper etc etc

Thanks. However I am looking for stuff that is a little moreuseful for someone like me. I have a Helix Rack and the Control pedal does just about everything I could ever think about in pragmatic terms like turn on distortion, Switch amps, switch outboard amps.etc. I look at the list in the user manual on the QC vs the Helix and it is night and day. People on here also talk a lot about the Fractal and other modelers and the QC seems to come up way short. There are always some esoteric work-a -rounds I am sure. It would be nice to have one button on my controller move me to a patch and then trhee more to turn off/on FX with ease. I am not the most MIDI capable person on here for sure, but the Line 6 stuff is much easier and more intuitive to deal with.
