Hey together,
I don’t know if this is a common issue. If i have high strings ringing out and try to palmmute my low string its super quiet. As the high strings get quietter the low string gets louder again.

Are you using a compressor in your preset? If so, try putting it before your amp and any distortion pedals. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately not. I tried different presets and even super simple ones with only amp and cab and even different Guitars. Always the same result
Hmmm, that’s an odd one. I assume you’re using a high-gain preset. Have you tried it with another amp model and/or drive pedal? Curious if it responds similarly.
Could maybe be the amp model you’re using. But also the QC models get kinda weird with palm mutes sometimes. The compression they have in the model itself responds a little different than the real amps I have (same as the model).
i tried it with several amps and also captured amps. It’s always there. Could it be also the QC cabs or a weird phasing issue? I dont have any Irs to countercheck unfortunately.
Greets and thx for the help
Palm muting works perfectly fine afaic. In fact I’m getting much more guitar mojo from the QC then with my tube amp.
