Volume difference using some effects

Hi All,
I’ve noticed an output volume difference when using some effects. For example - scene with activated Pitch Shifter with Mix 50% and Pitch coarse 12 is louder than without this block. Another Scene whith Dual Chorus activated, the signal has lower output when without this effect.
Coming from Helix where there was a ‘Level’ parameter for each effect so it could be fine tuned.
Are you experiencing same problems?

Same problem here. Many basics are still missing. Unacceptable.

Hi @fzer0 , I would email support@neuraldsp.com and they will likely have you send them your preset to look at as that is not normal behavior.

Thanks, asked Support. Will let you know in this topic about that issue.

Kinda necroposting here but 3 years later I want to know what happened..?

I started using the pitch shifter as harmonizer for the first time with the mix even lower than 50% and I see clearly there is louder than without the effect… being it a mix signal from the same source one should expect same output volume volume.

one reason could be that the increase in volume be just a perception and not more Db. I didnt check it yet. anyway.. if it is more Db then it’s a flaw and they should fix it. If it’s just perception then they should add a volume control to get unity gain. I know you can fix it with scenes but when using stomp mode I’m forced to add a block which I have no space left
