Row 1: bass input, amp & speaker > Row 3
Row 2: second input with effects loop
Row 3: Transparent blend with the output from the last block in row 2
The issue I have is that with the blend at 50% the overall volume is less than either 0% or 100%. I can see it by monitoring the output on row 3. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a workaround? I have a volume bump scene I could use but its more tap dancing than I’d like. Perhaps my expectations for the feature just aren’t right? Would love to hear some solutions. Thanks!
maybe it’s phasing if you’re feeding the same input thru it twice. Makes sense that 50% is where you’d hear it most. Try putting a gain block on one row and inverting the phase.
Also, check your mix/bal level on whatever pedal(s) you’ve got in the FX Loop, those can really sneak up on you. Could contribute to phasing where you have essentially 3 versions of a similar signal stacking up and phasing certain freqs out
I’m having mixed results with the Blend too, where I’m trying to use it to arrange 3 mono FX Loops. There are some bleed and muting issues I can’t seem to resolve.
