Today I saw that JN Cordy used a flat IR block and adjusted the Hi and Low pass filters and level to get a global eq to cut out spikes and rumble that can happen on a given preset. I got a free flat EQ IR from Presonus and it worked great. Only works on combo captures as the IR block is open,

It’s not global, though. The flat IR block will only affect the capture, not the post effects.
The unit has physical B/M/T right on it. This trick he made an entire video about is like rubbing an onion on your forehead to make your hair grow slower
