Using a Quad Cortex Mini entirely offline

Is there any sort of forced online requirement for the Quad Cortex Mini?

I don’t just mean during normal use, I mean _any_, including when the device is powered on for the first time, or after a factory reset.

In other words, can I take a Quad Cortex Mini that has never been powered on before/was factory reset, and just start using it directly after it boots up for the first time?

Can I also edit presets completely offline, locally on the device?

I realize that the online features would not work without internet. I just want to make sure that I don’t end up buying something that turns into an expensive brick in case of no internet, or no Neural DSP servers anymore.

QC and QC Mini do not require an online connection in order to work. You don’t have to sign in if you don’t want to.

However, you will need to sign in with your NDSP account if you want to update the unit, create backups, and/or access plug-ins whose licenses you own. Even still, the QC will remember your sign-in after cycling power, and it won’t brick up on you with a login request.
