Access to all features without internet

The ability to access the full features without the need to be connected to the internet, should be added. Not everyone has the luxury to have internet in the phone. This is a hidden “bomb” for new customers.

Make Nano Cortex part of Cortex Cloud app accessible offline

Since the Cortex Cloud app is used to access additional parameters of Nano Cortex, I feel it should be possible to have access to the parameters of physical device in front of me without having to be connected to the internet. If I try to launch to the Cortex Cloud app without having internet connection the app gets stuck on Neural logo and fails to initialise. (happens on both iOS and Android) I don’t understand why an internet connection is required to change high cut on a IR block or to ass…

Promoting a product as travel gig featuring a session on top of a mountain and then putting every setting behind a internet connection wall is just insane guys. (btw behind the message you can see the settings changing when you use your pedal so we can tell the internet is not necessary for the communication between devices)

We need to be able to tweak our presets without an internet connection.

In my particular case, I do work in cruise ships and the internet access is not reliable, and this update is making me unable to do the gig properly.

Of course without internet we would not be able to download content from cloud or stuff like that but to at least be able to tweak a preset or even change which preset is activated with the switchs would be enough.

Please we are experimenting some issues with the cortex cloud app and it’s not possible to edit anything. I beg for a offline function with the Bluetooth to be able to use it always. It is really painful when happens in a gig.

A couple days ago I gigged in a village in the mountain. There was a fantastic castle, and everything was just awesome.

BUT… there was no 4G/5G signal. Phones were all without internet. I brought with me 2 phones with different telcom companies, just in case. And it even wasn’t enough.

So I couldn’t tweak anything in my NC during the sound check. I wanted to just level some preset volumes. Imposible. No internet, no access to the app, no way to just tweak some basic things.

This is unacceptable. I’m in love with my NC, but honestly, depending on internet availability to tweak things in the unit is just a decision which can only be called ridiculous, stupid, absurd and not understandable.

Please, NDSP, stop this nonsense and give us offline access to the parameters of the NC. And do it ASAP.

Sorry to hear about your experience Anxel. I certainly can empathize, as I’ve done remote gigs with the NC before. With my patches set up and evened out (with respect to tone and levels), I rely on an external pedal such as an equalizer or boost if need be. Easy enough to chuck in the gigbag. I know it can’t change the past for you, but perhaps it’s something for future consideration until they make a statement about whether or not this will be the kind of thing that gets addressed in an update. Until then, I’m not sure admonishments and demands are the way to go about feature requests… but again I understand your frustration. I hope the gig went well either way; playing in a castle sounds neat.

Thank you mate. I know I can make workarounds to fix this, but what is shocking is that NDSP seems to have chosen to do it the way it is… and being massively easy to give offline functionality, they decide not to.

I don’t want to carry more gear than what it’s needed. It kills the purpose of the small NC.

If they don’t add this functionality soon, I’ll get rid of it.

Hello! I think there is no point to make the things so inconvenient for people using the NC. Two firmware updates, app updates and the problem persists. I will wait for the next updade. I don’t believe they will insist in this nonsense. Well, if they insist, I’ll search for another solution. For now, I’m using my first pedalboard that is heavy but I can change what I want. Waiting…

I can’t believe we are not able to tweak our nano cortex without internet. I’m working as a musician in cruises and we don’t have internet onboard, so I have to do all my work just with 4 presets? Hundreds of differents shows and styles. This is basic, at least to tweak our sound.
