Tuner Offsets

For people who want to use sweetened tunings (a la Peterson) or have Buzz Feiten guitars, it would be useful to be able to set per-string offsets in cents.

This would be totally hip. Thanks for suggesting it.

+1 , for TrueTemperament necks…
A custom tuning setup option would be greatly appreciated.

+1 for BFTS settings, or more generally, the ability to enter tuning offsets per string.

I just posted something like this a few minutes ago, not realizing somebody has already recovered this topic but yes, it would be nice to be able to have customizable user presets with customizable offsets that you’re able to store that would eliminate any reason to have a Peterson tuner. One less thing to set up and plug-in

I use my Shure GLXD16+ tuner’s compensation feature to tune half-step down (Eb/D#) while it still displays the standard string names: E, A, D, G, B, E.
And the reason is, we talk about the strings as if we were in standard tuning, so this avoids any confusion.
I want to revive this feature, I think it’s basic stuff to add, but can be super useful

Honestly I’ve always found the compensation modes for tuners to be super annoying. I cannot stand when it’s displaying the wrong note or the string number. Would hope Neural doesn’t implement this. Never in a situation where I wouldn’t want to say the actual note name

SelfTitledLP Optional features don’t force anyone to use them, they simply give people the choice to work the way that suits them. If you don’t need it, leave it off, but don’t block it for the dozens of users who have asked for it.
