Trouble connecting Focusrite Solo to monitors - I'm a noob

Hi there
Just bought a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, downloaded the Plane plugin, downloaded Abelton, but can’t get any sound through my monitors?
I am running my monitors from a mixer, into my Mac via headphones. The monitors are connected to the mixer via XLR cables?

Should I just be running the cables direct to the monitors and skip the mixer? If so, what cables do I need?

Think you can skip the mixer. You need speaker cables with 1/4” plugs for the focusrite output. In an pinch, instrument cables will work fine.

If it’s still an issue you’ll want to look up how to configure audio i/o in your daw.
