Hey guys,
I like to play mostly Rock N’ Roll and Blues - among my favorite bands are: Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and many others… you get the idea.
I really like clean tones as well as the high ones - which plugin would you recommend on buying?
I’ve tried many of the plugins for 14 days but I really dunno which one to choose here, would love to get some help!
Fortin Cali hits a lot of those marks for tones etc.
I’ve checked some reviews about it and it seems like a wise choice indeed, thanks!
Any other recommendations? (:
You can try Soldano SLO-100. It’s a damn good amp to play from clean, crunch to high-gain. Don’t forget also to check the pedals as parts of the package, they’re way better than the other amp models included. The Default sound is even quite amazing without tweaking.
You can check the review from Rabea before he got his own signature plugin.

It looks really good as well!
I’m facing a heavy dilemma now between the three: Cali versus Soldano vs Rabea.
The thing is I have some physical pedals that I can plug and play as well - Wah Wah, Fuzz, Synthesizer and a looper.
Would love if you guys could help me settle down this debate, as I’ve already tried and used my 14 days of trial on each of these plugins
P.S. my physical AMP is a Fender Mustang and I like it overall, dunno if that’s a factor.
I have both Soldano & Rabea. Rabea amps sound more polished & smooth even in high gain with more FXs if you like to explore beyond clean & distortion.
Soldano has the natural grittiness of a real amp, and the pedals included have more than enough for straight rock-to-metal sounds with nice singing clean in the amp’s channel. That’s what I like about it most, simple but versatile.
Problem here is no one but you is going to be able to know which one inspires you the most. Given EQ’s etc you’ll be able to make all three of these sound great. Rabea has features the others do not with the synth capabilities, if you are never going to use it that might not matter.
