Plug in recommendation - Pink Floyd (Plus more)

Hi

I currently own the SLO100, Tone King and Mayer plug ins. I mostly play (well try to!) blues, classic rock and various clean from The Shadows (don’t judge  ) to some of the clean Floyd stuff.

Given the current birthday sale and upcoming pay day, I’m itching to buy one more plug in. Another thing I enjoy playing is Floyd style stuff, thinking The Wall and Comfortably Numb. Not necessarily note for note, just jamming around the scales but I love that kind of tone. I asked Google Gemini and it suggested Rabea’s plug in due to the combination of amps along with the fact it has a Fuzz pedal. But then as a second choice it recommended Mateus Asato due to it’s spacey reverb and delay.

I’ve actually had a lot of luck with Gemini helping me dial in some nice tones (even actually a pretty decent Comfortably Numb tone with the SLO 100). But I just thought I’d ask the question here for some real life human feedback.

So any recommendations on which plug in to try and why would be much appreciated. I obviously will download some trials, but I’ve not get time to test them all so thought I’d ask in case I missed something due to it not being an obvious choice (for example it never would have occurred to me to try Rabea’s)

Hey Dude

On Plugins I have tried a few but really hard to get that tone easily.

Rabea has a preset called Gilmourish or something - it’s pretty good. But I didn’t get the feel/vibe from it.

However I think Cory Wong can get you the vibe. Mind you Rabea has a singular good preset for Pink Floyd but Cory Wong’s suite has GREAT amps and amazing boosts that get the feel/vibe based stuff in it. If that’s your playing style would highly recommend it. It has a DI amp as well which can get you some crazy good vibe tones along with a Dumble and whatever the other amp in it is.

But it will take significant dialing in - I was never able to get close enough. You really need a modeler for the compressors and drives and amps and delays…the whole Pink Floyd thing is pretty intense
