Can’t replicate it either.
You say that the second repeat is louder than the first one. Is it also louder than the dry signal?
And what about the other repeats? Do they jump around in volume also? Or is it just the second one which behaves incorrectly?
Ok, because repeats on an even number are louder than on an uneven one, that sounds like it is either a panning issue of some sort or a hardware related problem, with one side being weaker than the other.
Have you tried panning your signal to the left only? Likewise, only to the right? Also with and without delay involved?
Have you checked your I/O in your QC? Also try doing a factory reset (but do a backup before).
Try with different QC outputs, different cable(s), headphones / speakers.
Try recording something via USB, as there are no other physical hardware outputs involved that way.
It is a complete reset, except for the firmware. So making a backup before is important. I always do 2. One in the cloud, one local on my PC, just to be safe.
After the factory reset, you will need to log into your WIFI, then into your account and finally download the backup. Then everything on your QC will be just as it was before.
If I put the Stereo Width to 0, I have the same issue (even repeats are louder).
If I turn down one channel in the mixer with the delay in mono, same issue. With the delay in stereo, same issue. Changing to the other channel has the same effect
Considering that when the Stereo Width is at 0 I have the same results… should I think it’s not a hardware issue?
I’ve recorded with usb. Same results, but I had a very loud low frequency noise that I never had before. Maybe I did something wrong but couldn’t find it out.
I never had problems recording before with Quad Cortex via USB. I’m probably doing something wrong.
