When playing a YouTube video in the Chrome browser, the sound cuts out and then resumes. It temporarily changes to a different sound driver and then changes back to the quad cortex’s sound driver. Sometimes, only the left or right side produces sound, and when only the right side produces sound, sound soon comes back to the left side as well. What could be the problem?
The QC sample rate is set to 48kHz permanently I believe.
Google Chrome gets very upset when changing sample rates. I’ve had no end of issues with it doing a similar thing through my Focusrite Scarlett.
Best thing is to quit Chrome completely, (maybe even restart laptop), plug in the QC first, set it to be the soundcard, then open Chrome last.
