So I’m wiring up my new board and fire it up; no sound. Unplug everything and start fresh with output to amp and guitar cable; no sound. Try different output, headphones, new guitar cable; nothing. Plug into effect loop send (with no effect loop block active) and I get sound but it’s not controllable by the volume knob. Any idea what’s going on? Did I burn something up internally while unplugging/plugging the unit a few times without shutting down?
You wouldn’t have burned anything up by plugging/unplugging stuff while it was on. Only way to know why you aren’t getting sound would be for you to explain your chain. It’s mostly likely a simple routing issue within the QC

Make sure the Output block at the end of the row matches what you are using physically to plug into (Output 1 for XLR, 3 for TS, etc)

Ok so it turns out there was a bad connection in my solder less kit causing the problem. Thanks for your responses!
