Some Way To Run Backing Tracks

Love the Quad Cortex. Best purchase I ever made. But… I still have to carry around some kind of external device to play my backing tracks. Right now I’m using a Boss RC-5 and a Strymon Conduit to connect it to the QC. It works but it’s a hassle and, what’s more, it’s so NOT the Quad Cortex vibe of “if it’s not in the QC box, you don’t need it.”

The Looper has everything we need, technology wise (except perhaps for the ability to store loops). But there are so many ways to get there, I’m sure you guys can make this work somehow.

The ability to play backing tracks would really cement the QC as the only device you need on a pro gig once and for all.

Love this device. Love what you guys are doing. The updates are the bomb. Crossing my fingers for this feature which seems like a very standard feature in all modern Loopers.

Hi,

welcome to the forum.

A similar request was posted a while back:

Thank you for letting me know. My request is slightly different from the other, but your point is taken.

Perhaps we can work it out via an app.

I agree with you about being able to play backing tracks from within the QC but Looper X really needs a decay function. Even cheapish loopers like some TC Electronics Dittos have a decay control.
