Integration of backing tracks

Hi dear Neural Team.
I’ve been using the TC Voicelive extreme 3 for years. This allows me to import backing tracks. I can use these tracks to build my sound automation on. Integrating and playing tracks would be a valuable feature for me. There are also plans to integrate vocal effects more. A harmonizer on vocals in particular would be fantastic.

Best regards
Florian

Here is one for playing backing tracks etc:

If that fits your request, just make a note to delete this request and it will be done shortly after. Thanks!

I’ve been requesting the ability to save loops on the QC for a long time, which is effectively the same as having backing tracks on the QC: Headrush have had this ability for ages, and I think NDSP are really missing a trick not introducing a feature like this. Bottom line is you can post here and add Feature Requests but nothing with NDSP happens quickly.

I’ve even picked up a Headrush Core the other day, just to see how useable the Practice Tool on it is. So far I’m really impressed; you can save loops to the looper library (it’s a simple drag-and-drop process, the HR units appear as an external hard drive when you connect them to your computer) but you can’t unfortunately select loops from the library using your feet - you have to use the touch screen for that, so that’s a lot of bending down to access the screen if you’re playing live)

The Practice Tool however is a really good option; you drag sound files (mp3/wav etc) in to the Practice Tools folder when you’re connected to a computer, and then they appear on the Core/Prime when you access the Practice Tool (and you can assign a footswitch to access the Practice Tool)
Then you can play/stop the files (and also do a lot of other things like fast forward/rewind etc) with footswitches but the best feature, from a live performance pov is that you can select the next or previous track, using f/switches, so you don’t have to bend down. This makes these units really useful if you’re a solo or duo act, and want backing or drum/bass tracks as you can load these to either a USB stick, on to the device itself, or just stream them from your phone/table at the HR units have Bluetooth.

This is the kind of features I’d really like to see NDSP add to the QC, but as I said, nothing happens quickly…

If you take a look here, you can see my feature request for saving loops…
