I do busking outside. I live in Texas, and well… as you can guess it does hot down here. We have a fair number of days over 100 F in the Summer (that’s 40ish in C)
SoooOOOoooo - can I take my QC Mini out for a few hours and rock the house, or uh rock the outside with it? I will not literally be in the direct sunlight, but I will be outside.
Any thoughts?
Anyone use the QC or QC mini out in the heat?

Not sure it’s comparable, but I had to run my QC (not the mini though) at 35degC in direct sunlight for more than 2 hours a few weeks ago.
The housing was much too hot to touch, other equipment failed (cable drums and some of the monitor speakers), but the QC kept going.
But not sure if and how this transfers to the Mini. If they used similar criteria/tests during the design, you should be safe.
Our band plays mostly outdoor gigs during the summer. We’ve played a few gigs at over 100°F (one, last year, was 104°F) and many in mid to upper 90s. We have in our contract that we won’t play in direct sun, though. Anyway, same story as Andy’s…we’ve had powered speakers shut down but never any issues with my QC. I think it should be busker-friendly.
I would get a small fan to blow on the QC for the duration. Either standard AC plug if you have power, or one of the inexpensive USB powered ones you can get off Amazon.
Also something to shield if from direct sunlight.
