Anyone have issues with heat using QC at outdoor shows on hot stages carpeted or not? Notice that even shaded from the direct sun and with a small fan blowing directly on it , after about an hour clean presets in scenes distort and heavy ones become garbled. Thought about putting it on top of cooling gel pack but moisture might be an issue as the pack warms. I have the input level at 3or 4 and it even peaks red in the heat.
Sorry you are having this issue. I would email support@neuraldsp.com as I have never seen any heat-related issues on the QC since launch. My QC has been outside in 95 degree (F) and been rained on lightly without missing a beat.

Two suggestions.
1. Turn down the brightness of the display as much as possible. The brighter it is, the more heat it radiates directly into the case.
2. There are notebook stands with active fans inside. Try placing your QC on one of these. When air is blown into the device from below, the warm air is pushed out at the sides. The cooling slots should, of course, be freely accessible.
