[SOLVED] - Had to do a factory reset and reimport a backup, seems solved

CorOS Version: 4.0.0

Describe your issue: MIDI OUT preset assignments stopped working after update

Steps to reproduce your issue:

  1. Assign any PC or CC to a footswitch or Pedal
  2. No MIDI message is sent through MIDI Out (DIN)

I have tried the following things:

  • Midi Thru messages work flawlessly and QC transmits them downstream without any issue: so likely not a cable/connector issue
  • MIDI channel is correct (as said, it works if I use an external controlelr thru QC)
  • As downstream device, I tried both a physical one (Eventide H90) and my PC (with a MIDI dump software, using my Focusrite audio card as downstream MIDI device).
    • in the MIDI dump I can clearly see that Focusrite is seeing only Midi Thru messages

    • when I click or move QC’s switches/pedals, I can see QC transmitting the MIDI messages via USB, but they never reach the Focusrite via DIN connector
