MIDI In no longer working after 3.3.1 update?

CorOS Version: 3.3.1

Describe your issue:
When i updated to 3.3.1 i lost MIDI in funtions on both USB and DIN MIDI. USB for cortex control still works though

Steps to reproduce your issue:

  1. Update to 3.3.1
  2. Check MIDI in features for patch changes
  3. Cry

I expected this to happen:
When I send patch changes, i expect them to change

I have tried the following things:

I have tried multiple cables for both USB and DIN MIDI, i know the ports are working because my quad is stationary and nothing has changed. I have tested other QC’s with the same midi file and cabling and it has worked. This only stopped working after the recent update.

Is there any way to reinstall the update or roll back to a different firmware? NDSP support hasn’t responded to my emails

I haven’t heard or seen any MIDI related issues post 3.3.1 update, therefore I would suggest to email support@neuraldsp.com and if they don’t respond, please DM with your contact details and I will escalate directly to support. Thanks!

I haven’t heard of that problem either. My external controllers are still working fine (DIN connection). Maybe it’s an isolated issue.

UPDATE: NDSP got back to me. I had tried almost everything including backup and factory reset.
I wasn’t aware of resetting via recovery mode though. Once i did that it came back to life. A+H during the boot phase and then reset settings from there made all the difference.
