I have been racking my brain on the South of Heaven guitar mix. When you are listening in headphones you can tell that the opening guitar is hard panned, but you can also hear a faint room sound or reverb on the opposite headphone. Would this be a second room mic panned hard right with the close mic panned hard left? Or could this have been a reverb send that was panned hard right with the close mic panned hard left. I feel this makes the mix sound together and full. I am less concerned with the actual tone and am more interested in the mix technique.
Any help would be appreciated.
