Yall got any tips on getting to that slash sound?
There’s a Guns N Roses Preset on the QC which get’s there, i’d use this and tweak it to your needs.
But it really depends which Slash Era you want to have.
If you want more of his modern Sounds, get an AFD100 / SL2555 Capture or the build in Jubilee Amp Model. Keep it mid focused and low gainy. Use V30s, some greenbacks might work as well. Add Digital Delay. You might want to push the mids a bit more with an EQ to get his early “nasal” sound.
Slash’s Sound is pretty basic imo (i’m a huge fan and chased his sound for years).
Some of the SIR modded JCM Captures on the Cloud are great as well, experiment a bit.

Yeah the appetite preset sounds bad to me. Maybe I can find a better cab or ir to use with the jubilee model
I thought Jubilee amp captures (Brit 2555 Lead/Rhythm) sounded pretty close with some 4x12 marshal cabs. I personally liked it paired with EVH cab (412 EV Straight G12 00s).
