Queued / Wait for Selection" Bank Navigation in Stomp & Scene Modes

Hello Neural DSP Team,

I am writing to request a crucial workflow improvement for live musicians regarding the Bank Up/Down behavior within CorOS.

The Current Problem:
Currently, when operating in Stomp or Scene mode, pressing the Up/Down footswitches instantly loads the next consecutive preset. If a player wants to jump from Preset 1A to Preset 2C while maintaining their screen on Stomp Mode, they are forced to perform a “tap dance”: manually switch to Preset Mode → navigate banks → select preset 2C → manually switch back to Stomp Mode. In a live environment, this is highly impractical, distracting, and prone to errors.

The Proposed Solution:
Please introduce a new Global Setting under the Footswitch menu: “Bank Navigation Style: Instant vs. Queued”.

When a user selects “Queued” (Wait for Selection) and is playing in Stomp or Scene Mode, the behavior should be:

Pressing Bank Up or Bank Down does not instantly load the next preset’s audio.

Instead, the A-H footswitches temporarily flash and display the presets of the newly selected bank (momentarily acting like Preset Mode).

Once the user steps on the desired preset (e.g., switch C), the preset loads, and the Quad Cortex automatically and instantly reverts to the previously active Stomp or Scene mode.

Why this matters:
For live musicians playing dynamic sets—such as Gospel Worship, where we need constant access to individual delay/reverb stomps for ambient swells, but also need to safely queue up drastically different presets for the next song—this “Queued” navigation is an industry standard already present in competing units. Implementing this feature would immediately fix the biggest live usability bottleneck in the Quad Cortex.

Thank you for your time and for continuing to improve this amazing piece of hardware.
