Has anybody experienced problems with the master volume knob?
Recently I switch the unit on and the volume is dead and knob doesn’t work, some days it works for a few hours then drops to zero.
Factory reset hasn’t fixed it but given me a little longer before dropping to zero.
Tried on my own presets and the factory presets and still happens.
Any advice would be appreciated
Wow, that’s an odd one. Sounds like a hardware issue to me. Have you contacted NDSP?
Mine is kept at 100% as seems to be the consensus. I rarely, rarely ever touch it. Have not seen your problem with mine.
Have you checked the master volume assignment under device options?
• Master Volume Knob Assignment: Select which outputs the
Master Volume Knob will control.
FYI - you don’t have to go through “device settings” (triple dot) to assign outputs anymore. Just wiggle the master volume knob, and a highlighted bar pops up momentarily (super quick), allowing you to select your outputs.
I’ve had the qc for 2 years, just discovered that recently. Lol. Wonder how long its been like that?
Awesome, Thanks for the heads up! The volume assignment functionality is fairly new.
i contacted support and they gave me some advice what to do , they suggested reset settings on the loading screen (just the system settings)
ive done everything support told me and it is working for now
NOW THIS BIT IS SERIOUS
ill admit i rarely turn my unit off has its more convenient to use rather than pluging and unplugging my other interface
is that a problem keeping it on 24/7?
Hasn’t been a problem for me, 4 yrs now
I had to send the unit back for repair for that
It has been costly and the whole process lasts 6 weeks
After a week of testing after resetting, I’ve only encountered the problem twice straight away. The unit seems fine now
