But some communication along the lines of “ah shit, sorry we found bugs that need to be fixed, we won’t make it in q2” would have been nice to see.

When I was in sales and I told my customer I was hoping to get something for him by a certain timeframe and then that wasn’t going to happen I Iet them know and why. But that’s just me I guess.

It’s been ONE day. Technically not even that as it’s not “next month” until Monday.
All manner of things might have happened yesterday, or during the week. We don’t know.
Have some patience and remember they owe you nothing at all.

I always owed my customers to be kept informed and to under promise and over deliver. But’s that’s just me I guess.

It won’t be released on the weekend, especially given their track record. Stop making out like people are being unreasonable by not holding them to their promises. You know they don’t work on a weekend, it’s a business.

I was hestitating to comment because I got slapped here a few times already as being a “fanboy” or paid by NDSP or whatever.
I try once more and maybe then finally give up this forum.
I can understand that everybody is waiting for the release. And since plugin compatibility has been promised since a very long time I understand the impatience.
But guys, seriously. Why is it such a huge problem for you that we don’t have a message today?
Neural said they are beta testing and are hoping to release this month.
Is it really hindering anybody’s musical career now if it takes a few days more?
Ok, whatever, keep on hating if you want, I still think the QC is one of the best equipments I ever had and I never regretted buying it. And I never will, even if you all try to convince me how bad evrerything is.

That moment when they can’t even release what is essentially DLC at the promised time
So you bought that fancy new EV which was supposed to have auto braking and lane change avoidance and auto pilot and two years later they are still promising it will be working soon and they hope to have it by the end of the month and crickets but you’re still happy I mean you CAN still drive it’s not stopping you from driving it.
Squeaky wheel gets the grease as in where they will invest their time and money, new products or resolving outstanding issues with the old.

I’m sure the update will be awesome, mainly because the many additional things it brings aside from PCOM, but, sorry to say, it’s funny how many of you are defending the really bad project management of a company that sold you a product you like.

I took my QC away from stopping my door from closing in preparation, I even had to order another doorstop off Amazon. What a waste of money that was.

Folks on this thread are in need of “huggies” and “there there”s.
Worlds and careers are not ending if the new release doesn’t come out today, tomorrow, next week, or next month, etc.
Is the situation how you or I would handle it if we were in charge? Maybe not, but we aren’t.
Move on, have a great weekend and be pleasantly surprised when an update appears.

Additional MIDI is most important for me although that plug in I bought has been wasted money so far.
