Along with the potential benefits there are also some very dire possible outcomes. Ranging from massive disinformation campaigns, millions of jobs being eliminated, to SkyNet (Terminator) scenarios at the dystopian post-apocalyptic end of the spectrum. Buy hey, we’ll probably get some awesome modelers out of it before then.
Love Rick Beato’s videos! Great musician but what truly stands out for me is he is one of the most respectful interviewers I have ever seen. Listens more than he talks and that makes for some real revelations from many a top-notch musician.
We’re far from on-topic now but what do you rather see? AI generated art that takes a few or less seconds to generate, trained on data from the best that humankind produced or the real thing?

But some communication along the lines of “ah shit, sorry we found bugs that need to be fixed, we won’t make it in q2” would have been nice to see.

When I was in sales and I told my customer I was hoping to get something for him by a certain timeframe and then that wasn’t going to happen I Iet them know and why. But that’s just me I guess.
I agree. More communication when this close to a goal that’s been stated multiple times would be nice.
It’s been ONE day. Technically not even that as it’s not “next month” until Monday.
All manner of things might have happened yesterday, or during the week. We don’t know.
Have some patience and remember they owe you nothing at all.
They probably just forgot to release it. I mean, that has to be it, right? Someone should remind them? Probably slipped their mind

I always owed my customers to be kept informed and to under promise and over deliver. But’s that’s just me I guess.
It won’t be released on the weekend, especially given their track record. Stop making out like people are being unreasonable by not holding them to their promises. You know they don’t work on a weekend, it’s a business.

Don’t defend them for using weasel words like a politician. It’s a tactic to give them room to not take responsibility.
I was hestitating to comment because I got slapped here a few times already as being a “fanboy” or paid by NDSP or whatever.
I try once more and maybe then finally give up this forum.
I can understand that everybody is waiting for the release. And since plugin compatibility has been promised since a very long time I understand the impatience.
But guys, seriously. Why is it such a huge problem for you that we don’t have a message today?
Neural said they are beta testing and are hoping to release this month.
Is it really hindering anybody’s musical career now if it takes a few days more?
Ok, whatever, keep on hating if you want, I still think the QC is one of the best equipments I ever had and I never regretted buying it. And I never will, even if you all try to convince me how bad evrerything is.
