Quad Cortex and Logic

I tried to surf the forum, but haven’t found it. Maybe Im dumb.

But can anyone tell me how the setup QC and Logic for best recording I Logic? How do you setup QCs inputs and outputs for lowest latency? Which outputs do you use? Is USB7/8 the best?

Do you mute the track in Logic, and just have direct sound from QC or thought the DAW?

Can anyone clarify this?

In advance thank you so much.

I use them together and I just use the normal multi out and use direct sound for my QC Guitar.
I always have the low latency on, while recording

Just deactivate the input monitoring (The I must be great)

and you’re good to go

I connect outs 1/2 of the QC to my monitors (for direct monitoring)
Select the Quad Cortex in the audio settings of Logic
On the preset create one row from input 1 (the guitar) to USB 3 (for example) with all the settings you want.
On Logic I use 2 tracks, one with input set to “input 3” (usb 3) for the processed signal, and another one from input 1 for the DI signal. Keep the DI track off, but with recording on when recording, and monitor (and also record) the main track.

Keep the main row as clean as possible for better latency (i.e, no effects). You can then later reamp the DI signal if you want to add more stuff, not worrying about the latency.

This works very well.
