No, you create and manage your WiFi SSID’s on your wireless router etc.
Radio guy here: That’s what happens if you put a high-frequency radio transceiver into a metal box without an external antenna. I could see myself modding mine to have said antenna externalized, but obviously that’s not a solution for everyone.
Internet via USB might be the much better option. That, or use your phone’s hotspot close to the device.
I was able to update it via my phone’s hotspot. still annoying but it is what it is
I also use the hotspot on my phone, and it works just fine that way.
I wonder why it’s not updating/connecting properly on my home internet, I also brought it to a studio, internet was great and all but when I connect the QC it’s terrible.
I just set my QC up and will always have it connected to my Mac Studio, which is using ethernet for internet connection, via USB
However, from what I am reading, the QC, for updates, must still connect to WiFi?
Is there any way I can turn off the QC’s WiFi altogether?
Im stealing a neighbours wifi 2 doors down with no problem
