is there some reason that you have to use WIFI to run updates on the QC, even if you are connected to the Cortex Control and sharing your internet via usb?
Am i missing something, am i bugged, or is this intentional?
I just updated mine, and I had to start the process with the QC. I had installed Cortex Control first 
It appears that there isn’t an option in the QC for anything other than a wifi connection though I had it connected usb to my laptop ( wired). I do know that it must have used the laptop connection as fast as the update went. I’m now up to date 
it wouldnt even tell me it was available until i got on the wifi
