As far as I explored the issue on some net forums, the problem seems to lie on the latency of Ableton’s midi clock out. It might be compensated either by overall driver error compensation on audio settings of Ableton or by individual midi clock delay compensation on MIDI settings of Ableton. I tried both separately and got convincing results. So QC receives midi clock very tight 
fortunately.
